We are committed to protecting your privacy. StayAwake is designed to operate entirely on your device with no data collection.

2. Information We Collect

StayAwake does not collect any personal information. The App:

• Does not require an account or sign-in
• Does not collect, store, or transmit any user data
• Does not use analytics, tracking, or telemetry
• Does not access the internet for any purpose
• Stores only a single local preference (whether the app has been launched before) using macOS UserDefaults on your device

3. How the App Works

StayAwake uses the macOS IOKit power management API to create sleep prevention assertions. This is the same system API used by the built-in caffeinate command. All processing happens locally on your Mac.

No data leaves your device at any time while using the App.

4. Third-Party Services

StayAwake does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms.

5. Children’s Privacy

Since StayAwake does not collect any personal information, it is safe for users of all ages. The App does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
