Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Extreme Vault (“the Service”), operated by Nedati Technologies Private Limited, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including organization administrators, team members, and API consumers.

2. Description of Service

Extreme Vault is a zero-knowledge secrets management platform that enables teams to store, share, and manage secrets (API keys, credentials, environment variables, and other sensitive data) with end-to-end encryption.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 30 days notice before discontinuing core functionality.

3. Accounts and Organizations

When you create an account, you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials, including your passkeys and device keys.

Organization administrators are responsible for managing team member access and ensuring appropriate role assignments. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account or organization.

Due to our zero-knowledge architecture, if you lose all authentication credentials and recovery methods, we cannot recover your encrypted data. You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Store content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Attempt to circumvent encryption, access controls, or rate limits
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to conduct security testing against third-party systems without authorization
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission

5. Service Tokens and API Access

Service tokens generated for CI/CD and programmatic access are your responsibility. You must:

• Store tokens securely and never expose them in public repositories
• Revoke tokens immediately when they are no longer needed
• Use environment-scoped tokens with minimal permissions
• Rotate tokens periodically as a security best practice

6. Payment Terms

The Service is offered at $5 per month per organization. New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original code, design, and functionality are the property of Nedati Technologies Private Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the data you store in the Service. We claim no ownership over your secrets, configurations, or any other content you store.

8. Data and Encryption

The Service uses end-to-end encryption with a zero-knowledge architecture. You understand and acknowledge that:

• We cannot access, decrypt, or recover your secrets
• Loss of all authentication credentials may result in permanent loss of access to your encrypted data
• We are not liable for data loss resulting from lost credentials
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of critical data outside the Service

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Nedati Technologies Private Limited SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, CREDENTIAL LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nedati Technologies Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your encrypted data for 30 days following termination to allow for data export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your organization through the Service or by contacting our support team.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
